we did fight for the taxi plate restriction to be removed and during the committee meeting which our association was invited at the time mr Rateb clearly state our points and the whole illegal issue around the restriction of the taxi plates and the huge harm around it .
thereafter the licence committee ignore our committee and decided to only work with association who support the licence committee goals and benefit by the limited taxi plats available which been rising a huge illegal market for number of the taxi plates holders which there is some of them already in the licence committee and .
in other way there was no a single foreign driver have a taxi licence in his own name even when there is at lest 60 foreign taxi drivers from the total of 160 taxi plate in west lothian,
cab drivers association was the only association against the restriction of the numbers of the taxi plates in west lothian ,we did work in every way not only though the licence committee who ignored our association and as a result we did ignored all of they unuseful meeting ,and stopped attending it after we haven't received any invitation ,
